PROFILE OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES

PROFESSOR DENNIS ARIBODOR. (Ph.D). CHAIRMAN-Board of Trustee
He is a Professor of Public Health Parasitology and a former Head of Department of Parasitology and Entomology, Faculty of Biosciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State. He also served as a two term the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Nnamdi Aikiwe University Branch. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Malaria Eradication and Safe Health Initiative. He is currently the Southeast Zonal Coordinator of Civil Society in Malaria Control, Immunization and Nutrition (ACOMIN) and was the immediate past chairman of ACOMIN Aanambra State. He belongs to many professional organisations including Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria (PPSN) and Entomological Society of Nigeria among others. His research interest covers parasitic diseases of public health importance with special interest in Malaria. He participated in the world’s highest gathering on malaria, the Pan African Malaria Conference organized by Multilateral Initiative on malaria (MIM) in 2005 and 2009 at Yaounde Cameroon and Nairobi, Kenya, respectively. Prof. Aribodor was among the 18 scientists awarded Bill and Mellinda Gates Foundation Travel Scholarship for 2010 RSTMH Biennial meeting on Global Health Challenges held in Liverpool University Liverpool England. He has consulted for many organizations including Health Reform Foundation of Nigeria (HERFON) and National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) of the Ministry of Health, Abuja. He has participated in many local and International Scientific Conferences, Training, Technical Workshop and seminars.
He is an administrator and accountant. Chief Lawrence Onu Nworah started his career with Panell Crewdson and Hardy in London in 1961until 1973 before returning to Nigeria to serve under United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as an administrative Officer from 1973 to 1976. He later joined the services of Nigeria Agricultural Commercial Bank (NACB) as their project Manager from 1976 to 1978 before retiring and moving into his private business of Estate Agency from 1978 till date. He is committed to ensuring that Nigeria is free of malaria and other scourging disease of mankind and as such speaks about these diseases with great disdain. He is the vice Chairman of Board of Trustee Malaria Eradication and Safe Health Initiative of Nigeria.
He is a seasoned barrister of law and a Professor in the Faculty of Law, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Anambra State. He is a writer and has written so many chapters in books in areas of Civil procedure in Nigeria, Criminal procedure in Nigeria, Bankruptcy and Executorships, Protection of Human rights and Social Development in Nigeria Today, Current Legal Frame work for Child’s Rights Protection in Nigeria. He has many written works in journals and has presented so many papers in different conferences that cut across Nigeria.<br /> Prof. Uwadineke Charles Kalu is a managing partner (Solicitor), House of David Chambers, 26 Uwalaka Street, Umuahia, Abia State. He is the Secretary Board of Trustees Malaria Eradication and Safe Health Initiative of Nigeria (MESHI).
Ven. Anayo Dominic Nkamnebe PhD, FAMN, FNIM, FNIMN, is a Professor of Marketing at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria. In addition to academic roles at the university, he has served in numerous administrative positions, including Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Director UNIZIK Business School, and UNIZIK Business Venture and Consultancy Unit. He was the President of The Academy of Management Nigeria, represents Africa on the Board of International Society for Market and Development USA, sits on the Board of scholarly journals and renders invited services to universities, scholarly academies and professional associations globally. He consults for government agencies, NGOs, private sector organisations, etc., and his works have received respectable citations globally. Previous work received support from MacArthur Foundation, and American Marketing Association/Sheath Foundation, among others. His Current Research Interests cover the broad area of marketing and entrepreneurship with a particular bias for sustainability marketing & consumption, social and responsible marketing & business.
Sir BEN AGHADI OGBUEFI, is from Nibo in Awka South LGA of Anambra State. The 1997 graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has vast experience in both public and private sectors. He is currently the MD/CEO of FIRST GLOBAL UTILITIES LTD, a communications company based in Kano.. Obtained his Bachelor Degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and worked for institutions o before venturing into his own business. He is a Kano based merchant.
